IGES - The Knowledge Corporation
We have been operating as a private company since 1980 and have systematically extended our range of services. The IGES Institute, as it is known today, was founded by scientists working at the Technical University of Berlin (TU Berlin). It initially operated under the name IGES Institute for Health and Social Research. In the years that followed, we continuously enhanced our portfolio and established new subsidiaries or added further subsidiaries to our network, including foreign companies. In the meantime, the IGES Group has evolved and now boasts eleven companies with the IGES Institute at the heart of the Group.
